The 20th ranked Ole Miss Rebels defeated the 8th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders 47-34 to claim the 2009 AT&T Cotton Bowl victory. This was the final Cotton Bowl Classic played at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, with the game moving to Arlington, Texas in 2010. The game drew an AT&T Cotton Bowl record crowd of 88,175. Ole Miss was led by sophomore quarterback Jevan Snead’s 292 passing yards and three touchdowns in the highest scoring Cotton Bowl Classic in history. Coach Houston Nutt’s Rebels (9-4) closed out their season with six straight victories, the most since Eli Manning’s senior season in 2003. The Official FOX Sports AT&T Cotton Bowl DVD includes the commercial-free game broadcast as well as special bonus features. It is a great addition to any Ole Miss fan’s collection.
