On June 23rd, 1984, Ryne Sandberg had his coming out party. With the Cubs down one in the ninth inning against Bruce Sutter and the Cardinals, Ryno hit a homer to tie it up. In the 10th down by two, Sandberg hit another game-tying home run off of Sutter. Ryno hit 19 homers, 19 triples, 36 doubles, stole 32 bags and had 84 RBIs that year to become the MVP. The Hall of Famer was a 10-time All Star, finished with 9 career Gold Gloves and 8 Silver Sluggers.
