Description
Wilver "Willie" Stargell is a former left fielder and first baseman who played his entire 21-year MLB career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Over his career, Stargell was selected to seven All-Star Games and helped the Pirates clinch two World Series Championships in 1971 and 1979. His #8 was retired by the Pirates in 1982, and in 1988, Stargell was elected to the Hall of Fame. Celebrate the career of a baseball legend with his commemorative Hall of Fame coin card from The Highland Mint. It features a solid bronze Hall of Fame coin with a full color image of Stargell embedded in the center. Each coin is protected in a 4" x 6" acrylic display containing an image of Stargell in action on the front and a picture of his Hall of Fame plaque on the back. This set is strictly limited to the year Stargell was inducted and is officially licensed by the MLB and MLBPA.
