Not only did Josh Hamilton start off the month of April as the American League’s Player of the Month, but his home run total for that month tied a franchise record. May proved to only further his impressive list of accomplishments when Hamilton went 5-for-5 with four home runs and a double for a total of eight RBI in a game against Baltimore, a feat that earned him the prestige of becoming only the 16th player in MLB history to hit four home runs in one game, and the AL record-holder for most total bases in a game at 18.
