The first professional sports player to be name an All-Star in two different sports, Bo Jackson is truly a legendary athlete. He excelled at both football and baseball during his time at Auburn University, winning the Heisman Trophy in 1985 for his performance as running back. Though a superb athlete, Bo was committed to finishing his education and fulfilling the promise made to his mother to earn a degree. In 1995, he earned his bachelor of science degree. Because of his on-field success and commitment to excellence outside of sports, Bo Jackson is one of the most distinguished AU graduates. In 2011, because of his outstanding collegiate and pro career, Jackson was awarded the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award for student-athletes. Bo Jackson has hand-signed this Riddell miniature replica helmet. It comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Palm Beach Photographs and a photographic print of Jackson during the actual signing.
