The 21st-ranked Cards proceeded to make a statement in New Orleans, following the lead of star quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to an emphatic 33-23 victory over their opponent from the Southeastern Conference. The victory in the Super Dome capped off a stellar year for Charlie Strong’s Louisville squad, which rounded out the season with an 11-2 record.
