Bobby Orr finished 10 seasons with the Boston Bruins and is widely accepted to be one the greatest hockey players of all time. While many records set by legends have been tied or passed throughout the years, Orr still remains the only defensive player who can claim winning two Art Ross Trophies for most points scored, he also still holds the record for most points and assists by a defensive player in a single season. His speed on the skates, and play-making talents transformed the defensive position and Orr was awarded three consecutive times with the title of the NHL’s most valuable player. At the age of 31, Orr was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in 1979, and remains the Hall’s youngest member.
